Student and teacher sub scribers make up 148 of this number. A higher than usual rate of comnu- nity subscribers total 122. The remaining 27 consist of mailing copies. Subscription receipts ex ceed last year's by a mar gin of $82«23« Anyone may still become a subscriber. Yearly rates are $.50. STAFF APPRECIATES AID Far the co-operation ex journalism members and Joyce Korris hav6 ahovm in helping to publish the first issue of the BUGLE the staff wishes to ex press its appreciation. School RsceivesProjector And Record Player Movie projector and re cord player, ordered by last year’s PTA, has ar rived. The cost of both machines totals $497.1W« Twenty-five educational films, bought by the county, are available for school use. Additional films will be rented for teaching purposes. Al though most films will be shown in the auditorium,a new screen is to be bought by the school for use in each school room. The record player will be used to develop apprecia tion of good music.These records will be heard in each room as soon as a vic- l^rola is obtained. Since the arrival of 153 books during the summer, the school library has re corded in its accession books 2598 books. The nevj »books received are a part of a back ordef plus 4.100 order since school began. Miss Johnson, libreirian, not having a library peri od, assorts, "I have prac tically gone batty keeping study hall, accession re cords, and* placiiSg books on the shelves.” Students are urged to re turn book% on "Sime. The fine for over-due books is one cent for every day over-due. The library is kept open every period of the day by student librarians.
