Under its mj^stic pov/er,
the jump board holds big
and little,fat and skinny,
n&n and old b*ys and girls
of the grammar grades
spellbound.
According to the young
acrobats, the favorite
spot for jumping is right
under the journalism class
window, bocause they can
put their b#ard across ^
pipe lying under the v/ij.
drw; and it seems "Wiat "irhe
favorite time to jump is
when one is trying his
hardest to v/rite a news
article.
The art of jumping
appeals more to girls than
the boys, therefore, in
most cases, girls are bet
ter jumpers.
Bailey School boasts of
experts in the field of
jumping. One girl while
springing upward in the
air can touch the nose of
her partner with her foot.
Vrtien around the jumpers
one hears such commands as
"cut the ice”, "open the
book", and "send you", as
they perform various-*^
stunts.
One v;ould suggest that
Barnum and Bailey send to
Bailey a scout who is look
ing for talent in the
field of daring gymnastics.
A performer deserving the
center ring could possibly
be found hert.
