This contest was held to get mothers and fathers to join the PTA. I The drive v/as based on percentage. With bZ% of their parents as members, the eighth grade led the school at the end of the v/eek. They will be reward ed for their record. . yrhirty-six people joined at the PTA meetings this ihonth. There was t9 re ceived. The total amount collected frora membership dues v/as 5-25. The girls lead the boys in having favorite hobbies. Reading books and maga zines, collecting pictures, and goinc to the movies, rate first in entertain ment for the girls. Other interests are dancing, drawing, keeping scrap books, and collecting music and vases. W.H.FARMERS’BROS, sailey.n.c, The boys like to hunt, play ball, make model air planes, and coliect stamps and pictures. They also like to collect cowboy pictures and souvenirs.
