By hanging new pictures, now curtains, and remodel ing dressing table and stove, Billie Freeman Vick has given her room that tip-top look. Grant, outstand ing men of that time; the Gcttysbury Address; an out line on the Southern Con federacy, a map illastrat-' ing the Confederate,border, and free states, colored in a variety of colors to show contrast; officials of the Confederacy; rays of financing the new government, and Southern prospccts for victory. Patriotic songs and poe try of the North and South were studied also. Neatness, grammar, and exactness r-ere the points used as a basis for grad ing. This work served as an aid for the monthly test.
