so just look on Mrs.Howard
Farmer's desk and there it
will be. In violation of
the rule that she always
preaches - don’t borrow
pencils - Mrs. Farmer,Eng
lish teacher, spends her
spare time "snitching" pen
cils. When anyone comes to
her desk for assistance,
she will take his pencil
to make corrections and
forget to return it. Her
excuse is absent rmin.dod-
ness.
Having had six months of
music, Mildred Finch found

Mildred continues to prac

can play for friends who
visit her home or for

for a small wagon for

Three-Page Life Stones
• To climax their unit on
theme writing, the ninth
grade English class wrote
three-page autobiographies.
Originality and cleverness
were points stressed by
their teacher. Miss Wilma
Johnson.
Miss Johnson views the re
sults of their work as
"quite entertaining reading,
ospscially the titles and
introductory paragraphs."
Some of the titles were
