April 16, 194-8 LUNCHROOM hIXTL'RES BAILEY BUGLE BAILEY.NORTH CAROLINA Given to the lunchroom by the government, a cold beverage and peanut butter are served daily. Two baskets in whicj^ to scald silver and plates ‘ have been purchased. Sanitary cups, used for serving beverages since last month, help to keep the Grade A rating of the cafeteria. Lunchroom curtains, for merly white, have ' been tinted green, During the week before Easter, Jan Perry, Svelyn" Batts, and Sloise Bogen decorated the dining rocan each day with an Saster scene. To carry out the Easter idea, a plate of potatoes and Snglish peas, placed to resemble a nest, Easter eggs, and Jello were ser ved. Arrangements of floworB" are used as table center pieces each day.
