He came to Bailey from Castalia High School where he served there as prin cipal and coach. A graduate of Atlantic Christian College and now taking his post graduate work at the University of North Carolina, he has served as principal and teacher in public schools. As a coach he has given a large part of his time to the development of both girls’ and boys* basket ball teams and the base ball team, A familiar statement that he stresses most of all in these sports is "VJhen that last great scorer comes to wite against your name, he writes not that you won or lost, but how played the game, Each player on the teams thinks of him as a • real friend and a person from whom advice may be ob tained.
