glee CLUB-MRS. HELEN MUI»AY, DIRECTOR HIGH SCHOOL RECEIVES CHORAL TRAINING Mrs. Helen Murray, in connection with her Public School Music, has organized a Glee Club for the high school students. Some forty students are members of the club. Students go for practice at their study halls on Wednes day. On Fridays one period is devoted to practice. Periods ro tate from week to week» The club sponsored the Community Christ mas Sing held on Main Street December 22. The Spring series, of chapel programs was opened by the club. Numbers used included "Look For The Silver Lining," "Glow Worm," and "Bells of St. Mary * s," The final public per formance was April 13. Numbers used were "Ilfs A Grand Night For Sing ing," "The Merry Widow Waltz" with Jean B. Glover as soloist, and "Villa" from the Merry Widow by the high school girls. The high school boys sang "Ole Man River" with Scott Lewis as so loist, "Joshua Fit The Battle of Jericho," and "You Tell Me Your Dream," The senior girls sang "Jealousy" and "Minka.
