INSPIRES GIRLS ONWARD
After defeating the Red
Oak sextet, the Bailey
girls went on to win nine
consecutive games. This
vdnning streak included
both in and out-of-county
teams. Some of the out-of
county teams were Rock
Ridge, Gardners, and Black
Greek.
Leading the girls in scor
ing for the year was Anna
Leighn Johnson with 355
points. This was 16 point
per game average, Joyce
Williams was runner-up
scorer with 193 points.

BAILEY GIRLS
Jean Pace, captain, and
Lois Jean Medlin, co-cap
tain, led the Bailey girls
to a 5-6-2 record in Nash
county play this year. The
team thought that these
girls held their positions
well and were proud of
their leadership. This was
Jean's third and last year
of ball because she gradu
ates come spring. Only a
junior, Lois Jean also has
played three years and
will see her fourth year
as a senior.
