GEOGRAPHY GLASS VISITS CHAPEL HILL Alffi DURHAM The geography students state that it v/as v/ell worth their vfhile to miss a day of s.chool to visit Durham and Chapel Hill* In Durham they visited the Liggett and Myers Toba-^ cco Company and the Erv:in Cotton Mills* At the Ervdn Mills they saw how thread was made from cotton^ hovf cloth was ViToven, and fin ally hov/- the material v.'as finished* The Planetarium was the place of interest visited in Chapel Hill- They saw •‘V.'inter Stars"* A n^h or legend v;as told about the different’' constellations in the sky, how we have day and night, seasons^ etc* This v/as both inter esting and entertaining* The follov.ang attended VJilma Bunn, Louise !:,atmon^ Dale Johnson,Delton Deans Clayton Brock, Delton Glo ver, and the teacher I.irs^ Lassiter.
