primary grades, was gained
by increased average daily
attendance last yeare

wood’s first grade is Mrs.
Wade Joyner.
Frs. Flora Bynum’s first
grade has as its grade
mother s, }'ts. ¥» B. Glover
and llrs. Fred Smith.
This grade has learned
several Mother Goose
Rhymes, and a prayer.
They are also making
cloth animals for a play.
For having sold three or
more subscriptions to the
Bugle, Carrol Ferrell and
Dick Finch were served ice
cream by the Bugle Staff.

hopped a large v/hite rab
bit across the floor of
Urs. Rudolph Glover's
room. Thuiiipor, the rabbit
brought to school by Dick
Finch, visited the thirty-
seven pupils of the second
grade. The purpose of this
visit wan to help the
children to better under
stand the picture, "The
Boy and the Rabbit," which
they have been studying.*
The students say that
Thumper couldn’t visit
them but one day, as she
had to get back to her pen
to care for her ten chil
dren*
