OCTOBER^ 1950 13 STUOEflTS TACKLE PUBLICflTIOn Of SCHOOL PfiPERTHIS yEflR- Thirteen senior high stu dents through their study of journalism are under taking to publish again the Bugle, After a two-year stand- stillj journalism is being offered this year to thii^ teen students, one tenth grader, three eleventh, and nine twelfth* The Bugle will be publish ed monthly by these stu dents and financed with money procured from sub- tf=criptions and advertise ments from Wilson and Bailey township» Other than publishing,the Bugle, the journalism stu- dents will get experience in soliciting and design- writing news and sports articles-clear and object ively—using and caring for the mimeoscope and mimograph, and developing such character traits as promptness, accuracy, and dependability* Undfer the leadership of lies* H* farmer, journa lism teacher, and Mrs. Laurine Lassiter, commer cial teacher, these stu dents are striving to pub lish the best and most imforraative Bail^ Bugle.
