Eighth Grade Presents Comical Hit Well at last the irystery is solved I I The whole high school had wondered for days why the eighth grgde had been singing at the top of their voices "I Didn’t Knovf The Gun Was Loaded." Under the leadership of Mi.=!S Oglesby, home room teacher, and Mrs, Tichonor, public school music teacher, the eighth acted out that popular song of a few months back, "I Didn’t KnoTj- the Gun Was Loaded." The stage was transformed into a typical court room with Douglas Broiivn as judgQ. On the right of the judge were seated the jury; on the left a chorus of girls dressed in color ful cov;girl siats told the story in song. Y/hen Billie Fay Perry, as Miss Effie, came prancing out in a complete cowgirl suit on, the student body let out a terrific howl. The program climaxed with ’Itiss Effie being shot in the court room by the sheriff's jealous wife. t-cr /Jii FOKDi You Can Pay Mor© But you Can't Soy Better There 's A Ford In Your Future'" PAkSON NOTOKCO, PHONE 221 ■ COVER # THE ^ EARTH SHEKWIN-W iLLIAMS PAINT ColorStyle Your Home \ SEE OUR S.
