Ox last yeor's seniors, and heard him sing in a musical concert sponsored by the Olivet Methodist Chiirch Choir, oi' v^hich Scott is a mcmb3r. Mrs. Lewis, while attend ing the concert, heard familiar popular music di'awi from the best musi cal shows of the past dec ade* One of these shows was "Brigadoon," a present ation v.iiich war on tne entertainment afjenda of the 'U8 staff that attend ed the Press Convention in New Yorlc. The entire student body was glad that llrs. Lewis decided to take a wbll- earned vacation, l^rs. The omission of the cover pages vrasn’t too favorably received by the .subscrib’ ers at first, but nov' the critics are beginning to adnit thnt the non-covers really nake the Bugle look more like a newspaper. From the student view- • point the ornissj on of names that should have been included in somfs of the write ups has been the source of much v;?rranted criticism. Improvement in mimeo graphing of the second issue has offset the ad verse criticism heard about this phase of the publication. 'Jell-designed ads and news of interest have re ceived favorable comments from all soarces. This paper shall keep its ’’ear" tuned to catch the remarks ruade and endeavor to be gx;ided by them in so far as possible.
