Lewis and her assis tants are T)reparing for the student body a Christmas turkey dinner. The home ec. girls, by their decorating, plan to turn the lunchroom into a Christmas scene. Ninety-three pounds of tvirkey, donated by the gov ernment, will be the main dish of this dinner, Eng lish oeas,- Dotatoes, fruit salad, cranberry sauce^ milk, whole wheat bread, and cake will also tie on the menu. Ifrs. Frances Rousefs home ec. girls are going to make candle holders to dec orate the tables, Wayne Lamm ytLII have de signed and printed on the bulletin board "Father We Thank Thee" and "Merry Christmas." The first time came when J. C. Tregsler used a pho- tostatio copy of a first page of the paoer in his fourth edition of English In Action, Course Three. The letter below, re ceived this week, exolains the second recognition. In a book by Mr, JiupcheJ of the University of Cin cinnati your school paper was used as one of several representative papers in presenting what he felt to be the proper set-up for such papers. Our school herein ’’enfield (N. Y.) is anxious to start a school newspaper, and if it is at all possi-ble wo would like to receive a cooy of your publication to use as a guide in setting ours up. BRADLEY in 5i’lifilo:.tic lUork By a small margin, accord ing to the report cards, the freshman and sophomore Dlnsses are doing better scholastic work than the Juniors and seniors. Th^-s fact was established after averaging the grades of th^ different classes. This lead by the lower classes reveals itself, too, when one looks at those students making honor roll. Three of the five honor roll students in high school are sopho mores. These are Jan Perry, Clara Lou Stott, and Fannie Lou Manning; Eunice Perry, and Jane Morgan, junior and senior respect ively, made honor roll also. 1, The cards further show that throughout high school the girls lead the boys in making better grades. Studei'ts To Fill Christmas Boxes Six Christmas boxes have been allotted this school by the Red Cross to be filled. This gives an average of three rooms per box. Wlien filled, the boxes will be sent to children in for eign lands, designated by the Red Cross,
