Unless each of us begins to practice good \/ill towards others and to promote peace by more tolerant attitudes, better understanding, more co-operative spirit, and less selfishness tov;ards others, the fiiture holds lit tle hope. May this Christmas be observed in the spirit of Christ whom we honor at this’season. juniors,Seniors Reed To BudqelTime Appearing elsewhere in this paper is an article revealing that the tv;o lower grades of high school have a slightly higher scholastic averaf^e than the upper one^i^^^^. This should not be. The picture should be reversed, It is true that the juniors and seniors participate in more scti>;^'^'^ vities—plays, banquet prepara tions, basketball—that consume more time; yet the adjustment to ' be made by the freshmen from grammar grades to high school study will in part offset this extra activity/ of the upper classes. On the other hand the juniors and seniors should realize more than the other classes the need of studjdng, shoiild have acquired the how of study and the hov? of bud- A geting their time so as to take care of study and ' outside interest; and tb necessity of choosing between work and play when the choice becomos necessary. School is a preparation for life. Certainly juniors^ and seniors should recognize this fact. HAIR—Clean and well- combed but not plastered to the head with oily tonic. CLOTHING—Clean and well- pressed. Appropriate for the school day. SHO’IIS—Polished neatly and without taps.
