To be eligible for a pin, a student must type for ten minutes at the rate of $0 words per minute vdth .not more than five errors. Students; Loses Fou r Beginning the second se mester, Dailey High adds ' eight students and loses four. The eight students gained are Joyce Y/'alls, Annie Ruth BrovTO, Betty Lou Glover, Lessie Taylor, and Frances ViTells, ninth graders^ Jean Boykin,Junior Bass, and Jean Taylor, tenth graders. Going to other schools are Betty Lou Nichols, Battleboro; Donald Boone, Danville, Virginia; and Andrew Sherv;ood, Coopers. Stopping school is Denny Liles, a tenth grader. At least two put of six sophomores of Bailey High will participate in the Sixth Annual Speech Con test, sponsored by the Greenville High Chapter of the National Forensic League, taking place in the Greenville High audi torium next Saturday, In order to be eligible for prizes, each partici pant v.Tites and sp?aks a tribute to a character from the story of our na tion, Students, who have contested or debated in any interscholastic speech are ineligible for this division of the contest. Each speech is limited to four or five minutes.
