The 111ns, secured from the film li brary in Nashville, are educational and correlated vath the lesson. The stu dents see' from one to two ifiilms each week. i^APS Intensive study of North Carolina through the use of ma_)S 'ras made recently by the class. After a general survey the class charted on a nap oi' North Carolina .the rainfall, elevation, surface ' divi sion, minerals, and indus trial workers of each county. Through informed study,' the pupils colored their maps, de-jigntd and made their covers, typed general information on North Carolina as a v.-hole, and compiled their work into a ' book on North Carolina. "A student who finds read ing, answering 'questions, lectures, and outlining dull and uninteresting ■villl delight, and will actually learn more, see ing ryxctures, coloring and fillin" out maps", further relates ;lrs. Driving occasionally are Ruth Phillips, Vfilliam Laimn, R'adolph Manning, Lois Jean Medlin, Irene Glover, and Tommy Glover.
