M. B. Glover, vice president; l!rs. Florabelle Bynum, secretary; and Mrs. T. C. May; treasurer, new P.T.A. officers, vri.ll be install ed at the P. T, A. meeting May 10. A program of entertain ment will be given by stu dents from llrs. Effie Hag- wood • 3, llr% • Florabelle Bynum’s, and I>trs. Hildred Wright's rooms. Students from Mrs. Bynum's room vd.ll open the program mth a prayer and welcome poem. A skit, "Fairy Play”, vdll follow. "To Springtime" vdll be" sur^ by the class followed by "Hoisy Blue Jay." Ifrs. Hagvrood's students will present a baseball skit composed of nine boys. After which a quar tet composed of "Shorty" Vifells, Billy Carroll, Harold Brantley, and Lollie P^y Joyner, will sing "Gee Whiz YvTien Mother V/ashes Me". "Shorty" Wells will then recite "Hello Bill". A poem "According To Proverbs" vdll be read by Janie Patterson, A musical, skit will be presented by lirs. Hildred Wright's students. Celia Students making honor roll for the fifth report period were Jan Perry, Fannie Lou Manning, Clara Lou Stott, sophomores; Eunice Perry and Sarah Peele, Juniors; Mavis Perry, senior; Jimmy Harris, freshman. Except for absences, Jane Morgan, senior;. Kay Ferrell, Junior; and Lois Thigpen, sophomore; made honor roll grades. Reports show that grades are improving each marking period. Pitts May vdll play "The Month of May" followed by William Stott's singin*? "Fuedin and Fightin."Next Dennis Goff will sing "Along The Navajo Trail." Delores Johnson will sing "Some Enchanted Evening"; Gwen Burgess and Jasper Horton, "The Liliac Tree"; Christie Lee Finch, "Mighty Lak« A Rose", and Kay Vifiggs, "Trees." After the May 21 gradua tion, there vdll be a need for six new additional bus drivers for next year. Completing the final year of bus driving are seniors ^y Jones Jordan, Clifton McKeel, Theron Sanders, Eldred Perry, Janice Earp, and Jacquelyn Winstead. The vacancies ■'vill no doubt be filled from a num ber of applicants on file.
