They are Jean Brown, Lollie Ray Joyner, Della Joan Brantley, and Judy Smith, first grade istu- dents. Yii'illiam Randolph Finch, Gerald Tapp, and Phyllis Ann Manning hold the atten dance record for the sec ond grade. The third grade students are Jerry Bissette, Carroll Ferrell, Lee V/arren, Barbara Carroll, Peggy Eatmon, Brenda Glover, Linda Manning, and Sandra Stott, Class Studies Gardens Mrs, Floribelle Bynum's beginners have been study ing gardens and how to plant them. In addition to their school work, they are planning to plant a garden at home consisting of their favorite vege tables . The class is also plan ning a picnic before the close of school. Dear Junior Class, ITe thank you for the Dutch village. We like the windmill best, Wt we en joy it all. We have drawn pictures and written stories about Holland, We have read stories and poems. Our teacher read us Windmills and iVooden Shoes. Siri Weaver is going to show us a picture about Dutch children. We have visited some tulip beds. Again, we thank you. i(irs.
