He is religious, alert cheerful, possesses a sense of loyality, and trains himself to think clearly under sudden emo tions, He learns to tie all kinds of knots, knows how to start a fire with out matches, and what to- do in case of fire. He loves the outdoors and often sleeps under the stars or in his tent with a buddy just for the sim ple delight it brings him. He can give first aid in case of accident. The Bailey scouts always look forward to the camp- cree in April for all of eastern Carolina scouts* This year, 16 boys from Bailey attended the camp- oree in Wilson, The Eagle patrol, with only 5 boys, won a blue ribbon for their work in all tho events and a special ci tation for their to\rer- like gateway, Tho Alli gator patrol got a red ribbon, second av;ard.
