Green .and pink are the se lected colors with the pink carnation serving as companion flov/er. "Together we stand; divid ed we fall" is the class motto chosen earlier in the year. In need of a way of trans portation from Bailey to Mt, Pleasant to serve her glee club students, Mss E^GELJ- Staff Fram^Catificates Bugle Acquires Awards received by the Bugle have been dug out of their hiding and given a place of honor along with other school trophies. Over the trophy case in the front hall the gold sealed certificates for vfinning first place in the judging contests at the Columbia Scholastic Press Association are displayed, in a hand-made frame. The journalism class de cided to frame these cer tificates and put them where students could see them. Two copies of each issue of the Bugle since Easter 19^1 have been sent to Co- Julia Lav^rence bought a lumbia to be judged this January year.
