Third on the list of win ners was Mrs. Laurine La.s- siter’s junior class in high school with $5»10. regular Wednesday morning chapel program will be pre sented by the students in lllss i.fyrtle Sessoms' and Mrs. Rudo-lph Glover’s rooms. The advertising will be handled by It's. M. W. Wea ver. Mrs. Julian Finch will be responsible for distribut ing letters of invitation to the oarents. On the receiving group, the grademothers will as sist the teachers in making the parents feel "right at home." Miss Frances Wilson, chairman of the P. T. A. refreshment committee, and her group will have charge of refreshments. Chppel Programs Offer Competition By the end of February the school will know who is more capable of giving the most interesting pro grams, the high school or the grammar grades ► If'the high school has any idea of coming out on top, it will have to admit it has tough competition. Quite a bit of competi tion has come from Miss %rtle Sessoms' and lies. iJIdolph Glover's grades, according to remai'ks heard from the students. Librory Converts Dues Into needed Oloterial Overdue book fees return to the library in the form of new and additional sup plies purchased for stu dent use. New cards for the charg ing tray and a chain pen cil holder are the new ad ditions to the library, Some of the mending mater ials purchased were glue, tape, ink, pockets, cards, and date due slips. In the last shipment of materials received v;as a Jewish nev/spaper that had been used in packing. It has created curiosity on the part of everyone.
