Junior and senior ag. boys attended fat stock shows in Wilson, I.larch 26, and in Roc!y Mount, April 2. All classes from the tenth grade up have been studying the general ap pearance, body capacity, mammary system, and dairy capacity for the recent dairy cattle judging con test Wednesday. The hog judging was April 9 also. The beef cattle judging will be April l6. Participating in the dairy judging contest were Billy Bunn, Earl Manning, Ronald Bissette, and ViTil- liam liack Lamm. The participants in the beef cattle contest will be C. D. Mullen, Tommy Glover, Jennings Nixon, James ITilson, and Frank Brown. The rating of the teams is not knoi'm at this writ ing. C. D. liullen has applied for Carolina Farmer degree. If his application is ac cepted, he vdll get it at the state F. F. A. Conven tion next August. Seniof Boasts Project Frank Broivn, senior agri culture student, related in a business-like tone to the ag. boys, ''Hard work, money, and good land went into my six-acre pasture project." Frank has been working on this project since October, 1951. He states, "It won't be long now before I'll have it like I want it."
