Flans made for the year were to sell Christmas cards, attend the State fair and various rallies, and sponsor a booth at the Nash County fair in Spring Hope. FAIR BOOTH GOMITTI-E Heading the committee for the fair booth is Lois Thigpen, with six helpers: Betty Lou Brown, Amy .'.Lou Horton, Elsie Ray Eatmon, Wanda High, Ann Johnson, and Patricia Dew. Assistant leaders and helpers for the F. Delegates To Attend F. H.fi. Rally Members from the Bailey Future Homemakers of America chapter are plann ing to attend the District IV rally, October 1;, that will be in Henderson, FPuANCES WILSON, F, H, A, sponsor, says, "We may take those wishing to go.” Architecture Supplementing their study of architecture, the third year home economics class visited furniture stores in Bailey and VJilson last week. As guests of the Bailey Furniture Co, and Heilig- Myers, the girls learned more about modern furnish ings for the home, FRANCES liTIlSON, advisor, took the group through the modem home of a friend on Cavalier Terrace in Wilson. "This home was modem in every way, A stone seat, built near the fireplace in the den, was a new idea for television,” reports RENA FISSETTE, one of the students visiting the home.
