F. A. year of activity. At this supper meeting the group elected the F. F. A. officers for the year. The following are the officers: RONALD BISSETTE, presi dent j HARVEY DENTON, secretary; VJILLIM'4. LA1"M, treasurer; BILLY BUNN, reporter; JAIffiS ^'IILSON, Watch Dog. FRESHMEN Vocational agricultural freshmen are learning the F, F, A. creed, the first traditional requirement for merftbership. They aro also standing by for the initiation to be. ENROLLi^IENT The enrollment for the F. F. A. chapter this year is 32 freshmen, 20 sopho mores, and 12 juniors and seniors. The juniors and seniors have begun the chapter's year by making rat traps to be distributed in the town's business district. FiiDSRlTICN MEETING The Nash county F. F. A. chaptors convened for their first federation meeting last Tuesday after noon at Coopers school, at which time the program of contests and schedule of meetings for the year were planned. CONTESTS SCHEDULED ARE Shop Follows Classwork Ninth and tenth grade shop classes will alter nate with study hall for fall-spring terms. The tenth grade agri culture class is having shop for the fall semester and vTill have study hall in the spring. The ninth grade who are now having study hall each day will use this period in the spring for their shop work* This alternate sequence is in effort to meet re quirements laid down by the State Department, 1.
