care of hair, the care of
the hands and nails, and
studying face shapes re
lating to the individual,
consume the freshmen' class

2 egg whites
Method: Combine sugar,
syrup, and cold water in
pan. Mix and put on stove
and stir until it boils.
Test frequently by drop
ping a small amount in
cold vrater. As soon as it
will form a soft ball in
cold water, pour ll; Tbsp«
slowly over stiffly beaten
egg whites, stirring or
beating constantly. Put
the remaining mixture back
on stove and cook until it
forms a hard ball in water.
Po\ir slowly over the egg
white mixture, beat until
it creams, add vanilla and
nuts. Drop by spoonfulls
on the waxed paper*
periods.
Previously taking up
color suitable to the indi
vidual coloring, studying
materials and patterns,
the second year girls have
finished their wool skirts,
vreskits, and jumpers.
Junior and senior girls,
after revievang sowing
terms and colors becoming
to the person, are making
wool dresses, suits, and
blouses.

bi-county rally at Spring
Hope earlier this month.
Planned for Saturday,
March 7, at Nashville, the
important event of the
rally will be-the election
of officers,
BAILEY'S CONTESTANT
The elected contestant of
the Bailey Chapter vrill
compete for the office of
reporter and historian
against Franklin ton's
electee.
Prizes will be given for
the best name badge and
the highest per cent of
attendance.
