For the second reporting period eleven made honor roll] eight of these came from the senior and sopho more classes* The freshmen girls ran a close second with three. Making honor roll in the senior class were Mary Ann Edwards, Clara Lou Stott, Jan Perry, and Fannie Lou Manning. Soohomore honor roll stu dents this month are Billie Faye Perry and Mar shall High. Edwin Finch and Marlene Eatmon made honor roll but were absent because of sickness. Octavia graduated from Bailey High School as a journalism student and went to North Carolina Uni versity to take uD journal ism. Patricia Dew, an old stu dent but a new face in this year’s music depart ment, is continuing her music lessons from last year. Judy Smith and Ann Brock have begun in their first year book. and Elsie Ray Eatmon, Mrs. Thurman Farmer, a stxident who has been out of school for tvjelve years but came back this year, made grades that this pa per feels should be given recc£ nxtion, even though she didn't make honor roll.
