According to Ruby, there^ are quite a few do's and’ don.'t's for the first date. A girl should at all times have a clean body, wear clean well-pressed clothes, be ready when tne date arrives, introduce date to parents, have plans made or' as to place to go, talk about things both like, be cheerful and happy, and be the kind of girl any boy would be proud to have meet his parents. •'Conversely, Ruby pointed out that no girl should overdress,try to entertain alone, 'park anywhere anytimci, pet and neck, lass' every boy that comes along,,date' married men or older, men,- or drink.
