auguration of GOVERNOR
WILLIAM B. UMSTEAD, at the
Memorial Auditorium,
The stvidents watched the
parade near the auditori
um, saw GOVERNOR UMSTEAD
inaugurated, and listened
to his address.
After the inauguration,
the students again saw the
parade.
The class ate Ivinch at
varioiis places and immedi
ately came back to school
in time to ride home on
the buses.
"To let the students have
the experience of seeing
an inauguration, was the
main purpose of the trip,"
states Miss Oglesby,
Mrs, ¥, B, Finch Sr.,
R, W. Jones, Miss Oglesby,
and student drivers fur
nished transportation for
the forty-one pupils.
