Although the team has met strong opposition^ the hardest bcttle to combat hsE been the lacckcry and profane langunce encoun- tc:-’od. They have met this in £ remarkable, spirit. From tl'iis ive see that Bailey is fi^jhting trro battles, one to v;in the t'ames and another to shov/ their opposing teams that unnecessary remarks could be left cut and,thereby, make the game more pleas- o.nt and enjoyable. The coach has expressed his OTCititude toivard the pi'-yors for their ability t'j control their emotions. He is not alone in feel ing a sense of pride about the team's conduct. The student body joins him in his praise. As a result of Coopers*’ errors a 5-3 Tjin started the season for Bailey, but they la;; red v/hen they met Red'Oak and r/ere defeated 0-8.
