pastel spring colors.
SLOGAN
At the first of the month,
as a general hint to stu
dents in regard to their
reading, MISS IDALU OGLES
BY, the librarian, demon
strated the slogan, "Don't
Get Stuck—Read Only The
Best In Books", by placing
on the bulletin board a
prickly cactus to illus
trate the "Eon't Get Stuck"
idea and book covers to
portray "The Best In Books".
A few books listed were
Penrod by Booth Tarkington;
A Lantern In Her Hand,
Bess Aldrich; Green Grass
of Wyoming, Mary O'Hara.
The Good Earth by Pearl S.
Buck; The Return of The
Native, Thomas Hardy; and
■While The Angels Sing by
Gladys Easty Carroll.
A third bulletin board
continued to bring out the
spring theme by inviting
someone "To Take Me Out To
The Ball Game." Books rela
tive to baseball were de
picted.

given to those who hadn't
received it by their
family doctor.
