is given each person who
is absent in the junior
class, with a fine of ten
cents if he does not have
a satisfactory excuse for
failure to attend school.
Juniors take the absentee
problem seriously. They
hope to improve the school
attendance by this action.
These upper-classmen are
also staging a contest in
which each member of the
class is either a one or
two. The losers must en
tertain the winners at the
close of the month.
