Farm animals are becoming the recognized "friends" of Mrs. Florabelle Bynum's first graders this month. Various farm animals have been colored, cut out, and them pasted on a large piece of cardboard. DOLL SHOW SCHEDULED Costumes of- pioneer- days will again become in vogue when the girls in Miss Clee Eatmon's class have their doll show. Each doll will be dressed in some costume representing the clothing of early Amer icans. The boys of this room are making bird houses to be kept on dis play. A STIDY OF TEETH Besides decorating the room for Thanksgiving, the students of Mrs. Sarah S, May's class have had a xinit on teeth. In addition to making drawings of the teeth, the tinit included the care of the teeth and' the structure of the teeth. PIONEER DAYS RELIVED Indian projects take Mrs. Olivia P. Barnes' class back to the days of In dians with their wigwams, deerskin clothing, and arrowhead weapons. To help in their study,, students have co-operated by making wigwams, dressing dolls in Indian clothes, and bring ing arrowheads to school. LIZAFOD FINDS HOME Mrs. Rudolpn Glover's cilass has given a tiny tree lizard a home. V/hen one of the ’ boys brought him to school, the class made him a home in a jar and since then has made a study of its habits. CLUB NAMED Mary High, a student in Mrs. Harvey Evans' room, won a bcac of candy when the class had a contest to name its club. Each stu dent suggested.a name to be voted on* Mary's name. Junior B, won the vote, thereby making Mary the winner, OFFICERS ELECTED- Miss Rachel Bissette's seventh grade electedl officers this month. They are as follox^s: President- Graven Gay V. Pres.- William Stott Secretary- Robert Brown Treas.- James Ray Lamm Reporter- Kay Wiggs They decided to call their room "The Golden Eagles" and to hold their meetings once every two weeks.
