Principal Weaver announces. When the program was first introduced into the county, PTA officials proposed that these teachers' sala ries be paid out of county tax money. The County Com missioners agreed to the proposal, RULING When it was ruled that salaries for extra teach ers could not come from tax money unless voted \:pon by the people, some other source of revenue had to be found to pay this year's salaries, ABC funds were tapped for this purpose, PUNS At a meeting of the PTA officials this week it is expected that the group will formulate plans to petition the County Board of Education and the Coun ty Commissioners to call a special election to let the people decide if they want to increase the tax rate 10 per cent to con tinue the Music Program, This figure is in part determined by the $32,000 required for salaries this year.
