The names on the curtain are people who gave generously to help us purchase a new tape record er and the drapes for the auditorium windows. We are greatly indebted to the Merchants for these ads* THE UPSET An upset really came the night Cooper’s boys defeat ed Bailey’s boys by a five point score. Had Bailey won that game their county standing would be tied for second place rather than the now fourth place. The girls had better luck with Coopers because they came out with a tremendous ly large margin compared with their first game against them. The girls also hold the fourth place position in the county standing# Signs of relief were made a week or so ago when Bailey’s Green Hornets up set Spring Hope’s Golden Raidors by a fairly large margin® Our boys also shined the night they de feated Rock Ridge, but for some unknown reason our girls were somewhat off and unable to win. The last game between Bailey and Benvenue was an EXTRA unusual one .for I Rd.Sls 1 Beji Bax# L£di.pak Cooch Reviews Teams' Season The basketball season is about over for our teams* There is still the tourna ment to play; our boys and girls have high hopes of winning.
