FREMONT HIGH SCHOOL "What Does It Mean To Be A Sophomore?" Instead of thinking of it as just two more years of school, think of it this way—how many friendships and days of happiness you will leave behind. TRI CITY HIGH SCHDOL Their school had a senior who won the "I Speak For Democracy" contest. Boys and girls, our school could do the same; let's get busy, ROCKINGHAM HIGH SCHOOL A senior of this school won an essay contest. BWACULaTE CONCEPTION HIGH At a convention the topic "Study" was discussed by their principal. I came to this conculu- sion—if you want to • make the honor roll, just study, MIDDLESEX HIGH SCHOOL There were ten basic rules for living offered in this paper. The two I thought best were always "say less than you think" and "be cheerful," ATLANTIC CITY HIGH SCffiOL A school with another winner in a contest i The subject of the contest was "Thicker Than Blood," Why can't the boys and girls of Bailey do some thing like that? lESTViOOD HIGH SCHOOL "V/hat Heading Means To Me" was an article in this pa per, and it disclosed Polio Drive Nets $103.99 Slightly under one-third of the tovm's quota in the County Polio Drive was raised by the school, discloses Mrs. Raymond Finch, chairman. She at tributes the success of the school's $103.99 to the co-operation of the teachers, students, and principal. Prizes were given to the student in the grammar grades and the one in high school who turned in the most money. ^.JINNERS Kay Wiggs won the gram mar grade prize by collect ing |6,05. Runners-up were Maxine Liles with |6 and Linda Lajnm with $5.05. In high school Billie Perry was awarded the prize. Her amount was $2, Miss Rachel Bissette's seventh grade with ^20.0ii led all rooms in amount collected, Mrs, T,C, May's fourth and fifth grade came sec ond with $1)4.80.
