May's fourth and fifth grades, this time having a 100 per cent record for the sixth month for the entire grade. Last month Mrs. May's fourth grade boys had 100 per cent attendance. In high school Miss Edith Farmer's room leads off with 98^, a two per cent climb over last re porting period. Miss Glee Eatmon's third grade is up this month with 97^,- Only one per cent behind are Mrs. J. P. Underwood's sixth grade and Mrs. L. T. Lassiter's ninth A with 96^. Mrs. Olivia Barnes' se cond grade dropped from 98^ to this month. Mrs. Howard Farmer's sen iors climbed to 9$%. There are fifteen rooms id-th a 90% or above aver age for this past month. Aprii? Jrs. Entertain JW'ith 3-Act Comedy For 35 and 25 cents any one can see the juniors' "rollicking"comedy, "Aunt Samanthy Rules the Roost," April 3 at 700 P.M. an nounces director Idalia Oglesby. Leading parts are support ed by Shirley Williams, Aunt Samanthy Simpkins; Betty Lou Stallings, Polly Paine; and Newton Glover, Lucien Littlefield. The designated committees have started working on ad- vertisftinents for the play booklet, and the tickets. Freshman walk off with the largest number making honor roll the past grad ing period the registers reveal. Seniors are next with a close second. Students making honor roll straight without having any absences or conr- duct grades are Peggy Braswell, Mary Ella Glover, Audrey Joyner, Louise VJells, freshinen; Jimmy Harria and Rayford Parry, seniors; Billie Faye Perry, junior; and Elsie Eatmon, sophomore.
