BAILEY BUGLE. BAILEY. NORTH CAROLINA. APRIL. % Fflgfl .ill- F Hfl Comp White Lake Moy 31 To June b Toward New Horizons II Rps For Homemokers Making one's self ready for adulthood is important to every youth, especially to a yo\Jhg hDjnemaker. Her most prized possession in her youth is her appear ance, which shows in her clothing and individual ap pearance . Several mistakes girls make in dress and appear ance are poor posture, fly away hair, crude • makeup, tacky jewelry, sagging hei% and run down heels. All those difects can easily be corrected. A girl’s hair is her crowning glory and should bo treated so. Neat ap pearance is a girl's asset to charm, 1/ookly shampoo ing and nightly brushiing tend to bring our scalp oils, giving shine and highlights. It is seldom a teen-age girl needs more make-up other than powder and lip stick, Good eating habits and cleanliness do away with most facial blemishes and give the rosy complec- tion and clear eyes girls desire. Acne, however, may need a doctor's care. Hours may be spent on the care of clothing but this effort can easily be dis- g uiscd by poor posture. (This article will con tinue in the May issue.)
