September. 19bU School Cops I St Prize A t Rody Mount Foir "Mathmatics At VJork," the Nash County High School exhibit, won first prize at the Rocky Mount fair last week. The exhibit won a blue ribbon, added ^170 to thr Nash County Treasury of the N, C. E, A,, and Drought an opportunity to take the exhibit to the State Fair, October 19-23. Miss Edith Farmer was th^ chairman of the High Jichool Fair Cejnmittee for Nash County, As the others «n the committee stated that they had no material •n hand to exhibit, the en tire exhibit came from the mathmatics department of Pailo.y High School. Material for the exhibit was made by students ai:d past students of Bailey High School, The two stain ed glass windows and the Christmas tree ornaments were made by students of the general math classj the card table top was de signed and painted by C].ara Lou Stott and Gene Finch; the soli'l figures by Corney Boykin; the pro tractor by Judy Finch And Eunice Perry; the demon stration BOARDS by Rayford Perry and James Paul Stott; and the posters by Carroll Jones, Doris Joyner, Peggy and Pilly Liles, . EdvriLn Finch, and Rex Tick.
