NOVEMBER, 19Sh Page 17 Guilty Party Surprise’To Audience According to the admitted "surprise” of the audience the murderer of AUNT CARO LINE, of the senior play, turned out to be the one "least expected," Miss Idalia Oglesby, di rector of the production, believes this is proof of the "good ac±ing" done by the cast and the well-plan ned mystei‘y of the plot. The class cleared $11^,25 on the play. With this mon ey they plan to rent their caps and gowns, and use it to help defray other sen ior expenses; class night, the school gift, and the commencement speaker. Last week a repeat perfor mance of the play was giv en at Mt* Pleasant. The class received l/k or ^10 of the money taken i»* They gave the remainder to the Mt, Pleasant community building fund for repairs on the building, 'Cty. Corducts Classes For H.S. Teachers Assistant Superintendent C, H, FVies Jr, is sponsor ing special classes for high school teachers to im prove instruction in the classroom. In most cases someone from, the State Department of Public Instruction meets with the teachers. The classes are for high school teachers of science, social studies, health and physical education, math, and English, The last meeting will be on Monday, November 29. Last Friday there was a district meeting in Raleigh for the teachers.
