Four Red Cross boxes fill ed v;ith such items as tooth paste, combs, pen cils, wash cloths, soap, needles, pins, and thread have been prepared for overseas. The rooms filling the box es ■'/'ere those of Mrs. R4 G. L. Edwards’, Miss Idalia Orlesby's, Miss Rachel Bissette's, and Miss Edith Farmer’s. Other rooms had the priv ilege of assisting these students and teachers. One second grader to an other at the morning re cess, "Let’s went." SUB DISTRICT MET AT BAILEY V-inavfa District of the M. Y. F.'s met at the Bai- lev liethodist Church, De cember 16, for their month ly meetin':. M. Y. F.'s from Zebulon, Tfendell, Mt. Pleasant, Sims, Middlesex, and Bai ley v.'ere present. The program consisted of a prayer by the Rev. Les ter Bissette; Scripture, Luke 2;l-?0; Special, "Holy City", Christy Finchj Christmas Carols by the .rroup; a film, "Child of Bethlehem"; Benediction by the group.
