"/•TAjay In Judea" is dis played in Miss Clee Eat- mon's third grade. They are making trees from ice cream cones which they can eat. 1’'ho -wouldn't like a Christmas tree that could later be eaten I They were also busy with the Christ mas PTA program. Draivinc^s and colored San tas, Christmas stockings, bells, wreaths, Christmas cards, and scenes can be seen in Mrs. Altermise Glover's second grade. Mrs. Olivia Barnes' sec ond and third grade stayed busy practicing for the PTA program. FRIZZ E A frieze to portray the advance in civilization as given in the sixth grade history, "Builders of the Old V.'orld," is in lirs. J. P. Underwood's sixth grade. They have started with the cave man and hope to advance to the discov ery of the new world. The students in Mrs. Ra chel Paschall's fourth erade are making gifts for their parents, as well as a winter frieze for their room. Judith Barnes, a new student, is from Missouri. Tt/o new students have en tered Mrs. Ruby Boykin's fourth and fifth grade. They are Harvey Lee Garner from Black Creek and Joyce Marie Barnes from Missouri. PARTIrS Mrs. Glover's second grade, Mrs. Underwood's sixth grade, Mrs. Boykin's fourth and fifth grade, and Mrs. Barnes' .second and third grade are having parties in their rooms De cember 23.
