This includes the players, the coaches, and the spectators. The v;inner keeps the trophy until the two meet again. It was agreed that should the same school win five times in three years, that school would keep perma nent possession of the tro phy, VJhether or not to in clude baseball in the set up was discussed and dis missed, It was the opinion of the group that since the girls do not compete in baseball that they might resent the fact that they had helped win the troplror and the boys had lost it. RESPONSIBILITY' Each of us now has a res ponsibility to help our school win the Sportsman ship Trophy. Players, you have an obligation to play hard but to play clean and to play fair* C'aches have an obligation to control their tempers and their actions and to set goad examples for their players and supporters, CXxr cheer leaders and cheering sec tion need to be mannerly and respectful. Spectators should refrain from criti cism of the officials and of the players,. All of us working together can win the vote of confidence of the officials. We thank Mr, Folsom for this gesture ' of good will and hope that the Trophy will help to improve the already good relationship existing between our neigh boring schools, A Ileriy Christmas and ■ a Happy New Year to each of you.
