BAILEY BUGLE. BAILEY, NORTH CAROLINA, JANUARY, 19 rage 11 Not Populdr?—-Yet We Wonder Why %—Bobbie Lou Batts Rude Manners, a ' senior, is brother to Inconsider ate, a freshman. Rude's sisters are Careless and Thoughtless Ilanners, jun ior and sophomore respect ively. The other day we had a visitor. Her ir.ipres- s?on of Rude and his bro ther and sisters was, I am sorry to say, not at all a good one. They have their relatives in every school .though, if that's any con solation. During home room period, the Manners talked while the teacher was calling the roll and sat whisper ing about their classmates until the bell sounded. Here is the way they acted the remainder of the day: FIRST PERIOD: Again there is talking, whispering, and racous laughter. Rude makes ’ remarks about the teacher's writing, remarks so audible the teacher hears them. After the bell he goes to his locker. He pushes everyone else out of his vay and closes his neighbor's locker just after he has opened it. SECOND PERIOD: He sits and talks. He refuses even to ■ ■Moder Phone 2-787 Bailey, N. C. open his book. THIRD PERIOD: Half-way the hour he asks the time and wishes aloud that it was time for lunch. (Next month there will be more about this family.
