practice is consuming much
of the time of English I
and II classes as this re
porter gleaned information
from the teacher. Miss
Idalia Oglesby. Following
exams the United States
history students will be
busy with the Civil War,
she continues.
The English I B students
have been studying the
eight parts of speech and
their uses in sentences.
They are ready to attempt
some creative writing on
familiar topics. Reading
and discussing biographi
cal sketches of famous peo
ple is the topic in litera
ture,

cause some paragraphs were
ordinary, while others
were outstanding, has con
sumed much of the English

new semester she plans

for this group.
