"INTO YOUR T^T'IS" Miss Rachel Bissette's seventh grade has organ ized an "Into Your Teens" club. Officers named were president, Judy Smithj vice president, Maxine Liles; secretary and treas urer, Mary Elizabeth Glov er. Mrs. Fred Smith, Mrs. Dan Christian, Mrs. M. B. Glover, and Mrs. Jasper Finch, are grademothers. For Mrs. Ruby B. Boykin's fifth and sixth room, grademothers are Mrs. Louis Watson, Mrs. Louis Glover, Mrs. R. S, Harri son, Mrs^ J. C. Finch, and Mrs. Robcrt~3eard. Winning for the second month, Mrs. T. C. May and her fifth graders walked away again with the PTA banner. A Health and Safety Club has also been organized. "READING HFLPKRS" Sponsoring the third grade is Miss Clee Eatmon, A club, "The Reading Help ers", has been organized to help the students of different levels of read ing. Mrs* Altermise Glover*8 second grade is making flags of different coun tries. They celebrated the Anniversary of the United Nations by having a party. Making a sound chart in connection with their read ing is what Mrs. Horace Meacomes' first and second grade combination is work ing toward now. It is hop ed by Mrs. Meacomes that by the end of the year most of the students will know all the letters and their sounds.
