A total of 260 copies of the BUGLE arc published monthly by the journalism class. Cf this number, ap proximately 1S5 go to stu dents; 25 go to advertis ers; 20 go to journalism students for correction and for study for possible improvements in the next edition. The BUGLE is on the ex change list of ten schools, . two of which, publishing papers for the first time this year, mace a special reo_uest for the BUGLE as a guide. Accident Rate Rises Accident rate accorddng to this year. Principal Boord Members View Legislative Program To become acquainted with the schools • legislative program was the purpose of the District School Board meeting earlier this month. Principal M, ¥» Weaver at tended the morning session, Ihis program, presented to the Legislature by the State Board of Education, is asking for an '.increase in appropriations of 18 cents per child per day for 180 days. As a result of this in- Weaver, "is well., on its way toward surpassing last year's record." That fecord for Bailey was three times higher than the county average.
