PAGE 5 (In order to acquaint the Bugle readers with the sen iors of 19S7f this paper is beginning a column a- bout the class that will appear in the succeeding issues. Various aspects of the personalities and ac tivities of the h2 members will be reviewed. For the opening ;column, general statistics .of the class are presented. Editor) PAIRS One of the characteris tics of this class is the number of pairs found in it. There is a set of twins, BETTY SUE and BILLY BOYKINI a pair of brothers, JAI^IES and DALE X'JELLS; a brother and sister pair, MARY ELIZABETH and MRION WAFfflEN. IM0KE TTDiMRi (Lm Along this same line there are the Inseparable groups. Noticeable ones are RAY BRANTLEY, NUI^'IA FINCH, and RICHARD PRI- VETTE; RAY FEELE and A. W. PITTS: CARROL BOTTOMS and DAI£ WELLSj KEITH GLOVER and BARBARA BOYKIN; SONJA MANNING, JO ELIEN FINCH, PEGGY BRASWELL, and YVONNE MEACOMES. MARRIED STUDENTS Among the graduates of '57 there are four married girls: KEITH GLOVER, FAYE JORDAN, ELAINE MANNING, and BOBBIE LAM. Although many seniors rate high scholastically, the names most likely ap pearing on the honor roll each grading period are LOUISE WELLS, MARY ELLA GLOVER, PEGGY. BRIiSmLL^ LINE FARl'ER, KEITH GLOVER The six class officers— JAMES WELLS, CHARLTS WIL LIAMS, M/iRY ELLA GLOVERj SONJA MANNING, DALE i(JEH4 _ BY PEGGY BRASVJELL and BARBARA BOYKIN—are among the l5 class members serving as officers in FFA, FH/\, and FTA. The others are CARROL BOTTOi;S, PEGGY BRASl-JELL, JO ELLEN FINCH, LANE FARMER, KEITH GLOVER, LOUISE VJELLS, Bor.BIE LOU BATTS, and YVOmJE MFACOIiES. Transportation records show that one senior com mutes from Wilson, eleven live in Bailey, and thirty travel to and from school by bus. BUGLE STAFF MEMBERS Eleven of the twenty-one Bugle staff members are seniors. Commercial subjects seem to appeal to a large num ber of the seniors. Twen- ty-eight are majoring in these subjects.
