HEAVENLY NIGHT"
The seniors of 1960-61
will follow tradition by-
presenting their ovjn ver
sion of Class Night on
Friday evening. May 19, at
8:00 O'clock.
The title they have cho-
osen is "One Heavenly
Night." The setting for
this "heavenly night" will
be on a cloud amid the
stars for important infor
mation about their past
and future.
Astrologer, Talmadge
Whitley, who is endowed
with. all the revelations
of the ancient Greeks, has
the ability to read the
personalities, ambitions,
and future accomplishments
of the seniors,
. "Moonlight and Roses,"
"I'll Be Seeing You,""Star
Dust" are songs that
seniors will sing accom
panied at the piano ' ' by
Miss Mary Lib Glover.
This xri.ll truly be an
evening when each senior

should exceed his grasp or

DEDICATION
On May 29, 30 of Old Alma
I-later' s children will
leave for engagements in
various fields and occupat
ions. No longer will their
voices be heard; no longer
will their presence be
felt in the halls of Bai
ley High School. Behind
them they will leave mem
ories of friendships made
of joys and sorrows, mem
ories of accomplishments
and learning which vrill
never be forgotten.
Physically, these 36 will
be gone but dear old Bai
ley High v."ill never be
forgotten in their hearts
for these memories will
live on and on.
NAMED
The speaker for the 1960-
61 commencement address is
Mr, J. Brian Scott, Mr,
Scott graduated from Wake
Forest College and is now
practicing law in Rocky
Mountj North Carolina. He
is very active in civic
and school affairs.
Mr, J. Kem Ormond will
deliver the Baccalaureate
Sermon on May 28. Mr.
Ormond is a graduate of
Duke university. He is now
pastor of Bailey Methodist
Church, Mr, Ofmond'*i§"*vHry
active in youth work and
civic organizations.
